Embassy of Panama receives Students Visit

On August 26, 2016, the Embassy of Panama in Japan received a school visit by the students from“ Chuo Elementary School ”, with the purpose of knowing various aspects of the Panamanian culture.

The Embassy of Panama delivered to the students a presentation about the Panama Canal, tourism, natural resources, historical heritages and indigenous tribes of Panama.

Also, the Embassy offered the participants some maps and pamphlets about Panama in Japanese. After the presentation, the students enjoyed a tasting of the Panamanian coffee and Panamanian typical sweets called Mamallena.

The students visit is part of the educational program of the Embassy of Panama in Japan with the aim to broaden the knowledge about our country among Japanese students.
