Convention Center

The convention center offers videoconference services, high speed Internet connection, data processing laboratories and an intelligent classroom among other services. The center also offers a conference room that seats 550 people. |
Business and Training Center
The Business and Training Center offers classrooms, Integrated Videoconference services, wireless Internet connection, and Pedagogical Logistical Support.
On April 5th, 2006, the Republic of Panama took part in a videoconference on Disability and Development Infrastructure Development Projects and Accessibility, which was organized by World Bank Tokyo Office. The participant cities were Tokyo, Washington, Panama, Okinawa and Bangkok. In this occasion, by using its connection at the City of Knowledge, Panama could benefit of receiving up-to-date information on different topics presented by the World Bank Tokyo Office Development Learning Center. Lodging

Lodging service is offered in a villa of duplex houses. Each unit has three double bedrooms, independent of each other, and a common area that includes living room, dining room, and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a small refrigerator and a microwave. There is a laundry facility near the villa. Food services can be contracted with restaurants that operate in the City of Knowledge. |
Although each institution or company is responsible for its facilities; City of Knowledge has a security system that includes a 24 hours security guards service, as well as a sentry post at the entrance of the main avenue, a Police station, and a substation of the Panama Fire Department. In addition, public transportation service offered by SACA (Cooperativa de Servicio de Autobuses del Corregimiento de Ancon) for the City of Knowledge is also available.
The City of Knowledge also has 7 restaurants and cafeterias and recreation facilities that include gymnasium, Tennis Court, football fields, picnic areas, baseball fields, basketball courts, softball diamonds, and swimming pool.
