Business Component TIP
Panama’s International Technopark–TIP is its Spanish acronym--offers services dedicated to fostering interaction, technology transfer, and added value between national and foreign businesses that apply high technology to develop innovative products or services that serve the international market.
It promotes a direct relationship between research and technological development organizations and industries to increase the efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. Furthermore, the technopark boasts of a Business Accelerator whose main objective is to encourage and support the development of innovative high-tech businesses. International Organizations Component
The City of Knowledge has become a facilitator for International Organizations looking forward to promoting, practicing and implementing their programs throughout the Americas. Its mission is to offer comparative advantages and moderate to low costs for International Organizations currently established in other countries of the region. For instance, several regional offices of the United Nations in Latin America and the Caribbean were relocated in the City of Knowledge in Panama. (Read more)

Academic Component
The mission of the academia component of the City of Knowledge is to identify and facilitate links and associations among academia, research, and innovative technological institutions, in areas where scientific and humanistic knowledge can promote human development.
The academic component of the City of Knowledge offers high-level programs, through a variety of methodologies, which allows for options that range from traditional classroom education to distance education. To ensure this academic offer, the City of Knowledge provides the most advanced tools in the area of educational technology. Below there are some institutions located within the City of Knowledge:
